DSI Zenoss Bone Ring Transplant is used for missing bone filling, encourages new bone tissue growth, and allows immediate implant placement in one step.
DSI Zenoss Bone Ring Transplant is based on a bovine 20/80 cortical-cancellous bone mineral matrix, making it the perfect choice for use in guided bone regeneration procedures.
This Xenograft bone material is harvested from cows as a part of a controlled manufacturing process.
This bone is specially treated to make it sterile and biocompatible.
Physical properties (i.e., composition, morphology, and restoration) are exceptionally reproducible.
The bio-functionality of bovine graft is characterized by its topographic structure, hydrophilic properties, and the biologic interaction that supports reliable bone formation.
The ring technique utilized a prefabricated ring of bovine bone (Zenoss graft) that is fixated in a one-step procedure at the osteotomy created to stabilize the ring and apical treads of a dental implant. The osteotomy prepared with a trephine drill of a corresponding diameter to ensure precise contact between the Zenoss ring and a native bone. This helps to reach the elimination of graft mobility - a key to success for GBR treatment. The internal diameter of the Zenoss rings corresponds to either a 3.3-3.5 or 4.0-4.2 diameter implant, which is secured in the apical bone, providing additional stability to the complex.
